At First Pets Medical, we cover all of Puerto Rico. We offer reimbursements for all clinics or direct payments to veterinary clinics within our preferred network.

Waiting Period
All new customers have a 60-day waiting period from the date of enrollment before coverage begins. During this time, services are not eligible for reimbursement, and any conditions that arise may be considered pre-existing.

First Pets Medical does not cover pre-existing condition services or treatments, cosmetic or elective procedures, breeding or pregnancy-related conditions unless medically authorized in advance, injuries from abuse or neglect, and services outside the scope of your selected plan. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of your health plan.
